Environmental Impact Assessment of fly ash and GGBS based Geopolymer Concrete in Road Construction

– Geopolymer concrete is an effective alternative to reduce adverse impacts of cement manufacturing on environment and achieving sustainable development. Road construction a major sector, which utilizes in large volume, having significant effect environment. The present work presented two parts. In the first part, evaluation CO 2 emission for 1m 3 geopolymer ordinary Portland has been carried out further compared. second part results are used evaluate various types road construction, National highway, State Major District Road, Other Village 1km road. About 18 % reduction CO2 can be obtained by using instead just stretch. Significant sector utilising leading sustainability.
